Screen saver turned on or power saving mode turned on? Right click a blank
area on the desktop and then left click Properties. Screen Saver tab. See
if the Screen saver is set to Blank. If so you can change it to none or
even change the time it takes to go to blank.

If this is set to none, click the Power button below and you will see the
power settings to turn off the monitor after a period of inactivity.

Change and OK out.

If this is not what you meant please post a clearer account of exactly what
you mean.
