Install TCP/IP protocol on both

Set address on Laptop 1
IP Address: 192.168.1.1
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1

Set address on Laptop 2
IP Address: 192.168.1.2
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.2

Install File & Printer Sharing

Now they should see each other
