Weird! I was going to enable OAuth2 but, as I said, it never askes
for a password or key. Any ideas?

You'll be better off buying a new machine and ask the shop owner to set
it up for you. Go to PC World when they open their doors after 13th
April 2020 when all the Covid-19 patients would have died by then.
