Default 2 XP OS on one hard drive, same C.O.A.

Thank you for the good tips. I reformatted the hard drives and did a clean
install of XP.
Sorry for the late replies, I do not receive the notifications. Maybe I
tricked myself.

Go to run, type: diskmgmt.msc In msc,L.click on any hd or partition,go to
actions, all, select properties & get the info on it.Or,go to run, type: cmd
In cmd type: DiskPart In DiskPart type: list disk type: list drives
type:HELP
for all cmds. Also, since most or all drives are probably in use,you wont be
able to delete anything in windows explorer, boot to xp cd,press r at menu,
(recovery console),select 1 for C: press enter for password, type: DiskPart
In DiskPart you can now delete any or all, press ESC to quit, type: EXIT to
leave
recovery.

I think the owner of this PC has installed XP again on a second partition.
There is 2 18GB partitions on a 40GB hard drive. XP boot is FAT32 on the end
partition and XP is NTFS is on the 1st partition. Magicjellybean product key
finder tells me there is only one product key. There is a large Windows
folder in each partition and lots of applications which is why I think the
WIndows folder is so large.
