Default Autologon

Thank Kelly. It works really well.

Does this mean I don't need TweakUI anymore and can=20
uninstall it?

Hi Andrew,

See if this helps:

1. Go to Start/Run and type in: control userpasswords2=20

and press ok.

2. On the Users tab, clear the Users Must Enter A User=20

Name And Password To
Use This Computer check box and then click OK.

3. In the Automatically Log On dialog box that appears,=20

type the user name
and password for the account you want to be logged on=20

each time you start
your computer.

Add Control UserPasswords2 to the Control Panel (Line 1)

I've installed tweakui and checked the autologon. It
works the next time I boot up, but automatically=20

unchecks
the autologon box. Every time after that it goes to=20

the
logon screen.

Is there a way to make it stick? Is it a bug? Is=20

there
a way I can go directly to the registry to make it=20

stick?
