XP Pro, SP3, updated to the hour, Thinkpad T60p

Is it normal for the Wordpad 5.1 menus to have "Cut" but not
"Delete?"

the right-click popup menu only has Cut, Copy and Paste on it here.

Thanks. I can't believe somebody programmed it that way on purpose.

Hi Jim,

Actually WordPad started out as an elementary programmer's SAMPLE word
processor program in the Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC 3.2+) and was
included "free" in Windows 95. (NotePad at that time could not open text
files larger than 64K.

The source code for WordPad is still available for download from the MSDN
Web site for people who want to make their own custom program:

WORDPAD Sample The Windows Application

HTH. (Hope This Helps.
