That's this version, and still it's a year old.

The XPS 8500 isn't in the supported system list.

That suggests the program may have hit "end-of-life".

The Dell Support Forum isn't much help.

So because the 8500 isn't in the list it
will no longer receive Dell updates? If so,
how will that affect the 8500?
