I added the newsgroup through tools but it says it cannot find
the
server. Not sure what that means. How do I access this
newsgroup
then? I guess I have only been on microsoft newsgroups, not
sure
what they mean by servers? Can you help? Thanks.

A news server is a computer somewhere on the internet that
carries newsgroups.

The Quicken newsgroup I mentioned below is not a Microsoft
newsgroup (Quicken isn't a Microsoft product), so if you're using
the Microsoft news server to read this group and trying to find
the Quicken group there, you won't.

I see that you're using Outlook Express to read these newsgroup
messages, and Outlook Express can handle multiple news servers
without a problem (I use five). You need to add a general purpose
News Server to OE, under Tools | Accounts. Many ISPs provide such
news servers, and you should start by asking yours if they do,
and if so, how to set it up. If not, do a google search and find
an alternative news server. Some of them are free, but you might
have to pay for some of the better (more complete) ones.

Once you've set up a general news server, you can then download
their list of newsgroups and subscribe to the Quicken one.

I have Quicken 2005. I cannot find any newsgroups on this.
To
contact the company it is like $25 a question.

The Quicken newsgroup is alt.comp.software.financial.quicken.
There
are lots of knowledgeable helpful people there.
