I have the same problem as Richard, except I'm using
Norton Anti-Virus instead of McAfee. When I disable
Norton, every application runs so much faster. When I
enable Norton again, everything comes to a screeching
crawl. Since I don't want to be vulnerable to attack, I
leave Norton enabled and live with a maddingly slow
system. Any fix in the works?
