XP Home SP3.
Last time I used Skype was about nine years ago.
Anybody know of a safe site I can download Skype from?
Link to download if possible.
Classic 7.40.0.104 from Major Geeks did not work.

Thanks

According to https://www.skype.com/en/, if you click on the "system
requirements" link just below the "Download" button (link takes you to
https://go.skype.com/support.system.requirements), it still runs on
"Windows XP SP3 (32-bit and 64 bit versions supported) - see note
below", so that download ought to be OK. (The "Note below" says "If
you're using Windows XP SP3, make sure you're using Internet Explorer
8 or higher.")

Thank you for the reply and the info.

You're welcome; sorry it didn't work. When you say "didn't work", what
happened? (Reply here not to me; I still haven't got 6, 7, _or_ 8 to
work on this Windows 7 machine - "Skype can't connect" - despite it
working fine on another 7 machine right next to it. If you reply here,
saying what happened, someone else may know the cure.)
