You won't have to do any reformatting of your Excel and Access files, if
you stick with a Windows PC and any version of Office. I think you
misunderstood my reply.

I would NOT wait for Windows 8! I agree with David. Being an early
adopter is not in the best interest of your productivity.
(Also, I have a feeling Windows 8 may be another Windows ME/Windows
Vista-type flop on desktop systems that don't use a touch screen).
