Default Problems Watching Internet Video

--
Redwine Somewhere along the way in XP I must have inferred some wrong
information about video etc. . I understood that the video card took
responsibility for running the monitor. I am trying to watch ESPN ballgames
on my computer. The picture is not sharp at all and movement becomes so
blurred that you can't see who the players are. Still pictures, like when
they are focused on an announcer, are perfectly good. Also Hulu and Youtube
videos are very good. I thought I had a decent video card (nvidia Geforce 3
MX400) with 64mb ram. I have been searching the internet for answers and
came across what I thought might be the problem. A bad vga driver. However,
I can't seem to find a driver that I can download. I found what was called a
Standard VGA Graphics Adapter Driver on CNet. When I tried to download it I
kept being sent to the Windows Update page. I have also tried to download it
from Sony's website. My monitor's manufacturer with no luck. Can anyone
help and clear up my misconceptions? Thanks I am running a Dell P4 with
WinXP (SP3). I have 768 MB of Ram.
