Default Firewall

Hi
There is only one firewall and what ever rule you establish would apply to
the active Network Card.
However some rules would be saved taking into consideration the IP (or, and,
MAC address) of the card that was active during rule establishment. So such
a rule might Not do anything active when you switch to another card that
present different IP and MAC address.

I made some tests using an XP SP2 box with 2 network interfaces.
I was unable di apply different firewall settings (and exceptions) to the
2
interfaces or to enable the firewall only on one interface.
If I attempt to enable it only on one interface it is enabled on both.
Again. if I configure an exception on one interface it looks to apply on
both...
Is it the standard behavior?
Am I missing any point?
M.
