Default Can't update

When I look to the services, I see that the update service has started
and is running.

Go back to the services App and stop the Windows Update.

Then go to SoftwareDistribution folder and rename it to:
SoftwareDistribution-old. This folder is located in your windows
folder: C:\Windows\

After renaming the folder, restart your machine and then try to update.
It should work now because your SoftwareDistribution folder is
corrupted. When you restart the services and/or restart the machine,
this folder is recreated automatically.

Or make a move to Linux? :-)

If this is a threat then the answer is YES. Make a swift move to
Linux; Your New Year's resolution should have been "Start using
Linux". Windows is mainly for the intelligent people and you don't
belong to that elite group of individuals.
