Would this be the correct download page if I wanted
to install it? Should I?

Yes it's a valid download page. You have little to lose by trying it -
you don't have to use it if you don't like how it works, and can always
unload it. I haven't downloaded it recently, so will give the usual
warnings - watch out for extras you don't want, both during the download
and during the install.

Do also get youtube-dl.exe; don't be put off by Paul's mention of Linux
- it works just as well in Windows.

All such download things have a constant arms race with operators of
video-containing websites. Some have automatic updaters, some manual. So
far, the only times I've found youtube-dl has failed, I've updated it
(very simple: you type "youtube-dl -U"), and the new version had already
had incorporated into it whatever had broken the previous version.

I re-read your post and saw you recommend
YouTube -DL which is what Paul uses and yes
I was put off by Linux. So maybe I will give
that a try first. Is this the correct download
page for YouTube-DL?
