I don't use either of those products, but I do use quite a number of open
source products. Some are good, some very good and other not so. If you
don't like your open source offering, you can get rid of it and it's cost
you nothing (except time). I find LibreOffice quite adequate, although I
must admit I don't use many of it's features. On the other hand, the
previous version of Serif PagePlus PPX6 at $20 is a better product than
the open source Scribus, although the latter is powerful and capable.
