That's probably true of the dark web.

It is a (engineering) mind-set too. Tell me it can't be done, and I

I have no reason to. I did peruse some of the web sites that in-turn
look at parts of the Dark Web to see what is there then duplicate it
on their site.

But given the sheer number of things like printers, routers, web cams,
security cams, traffic cams, appliances, etc., with IP addresses, and
the fact that even if you have the IP of some site that interests you,
there's no guarantee the site will be up and working when you want to
connect to it. The sheer volume makes it hard to search/visit. The
people that are using it are probably members of the same club and
pass the IP's among themselves.
