What the heck am I talking about?
A nice little gadget that allows two hard drives to be accessed as an
external drive. Which can be swapped out any time you need to.

A waste of money when you can accomplish the same thing with a $10
cable.

I don't think those cables allow two drives to be addressed as if one.

Perhaps if you didn't waste money on things like that, you'd have the
money you need to build your dome home.

What cable would that be? So far I use the cradle for by USB3
External drive but I wouldn't mind having another option.

Al.

This sort of thing: http://goo.gl/L4Gsz (OK, that one's over ten pounds,
but that includes a power supply, lots of cables, and a driver CDlet.
You can probably get just the cable - on the right of that picture, USB
to EIDE/SATA - for a bit less).

After giving it some thought. Something I should have done before
posting, I googled and found several options. I think I will stick
with the cradle I now have and install USB3 cards in other machines.
