If you are seeing time sync failures in the Event Viewer, and manual
sync fails from Date and Time Internet Time Update Now, try making
time.nist.gov the primary sync site, instead of time.windows.com (which
has been unreliable).

All the default ones seem unreliable to me. 1.us.pool.ntp.org seems
reliable though. I have not use dthe third party ones yet. So far, so
good!
