Just getting rid of the useless microsoft games folder, I am told I
do not
have permission to delete the png images. Everything else deletes.
So I go to set permissions. Nope. Can't do that either. It will not
change
from "creator owner".

I change ownership, go through the hoops, click ok. All appears to
be fine.
But nope. Windows is saying **** you. We're not allowing you to make the
damn changes on this. You're stuck with it.

It's my god damned ****ing machine! If I don't want your crap on it then
that is my right. What the hell is so damned privileged about a frickin
image?

Now how do I fix it?
How to Take Ownership of a Item in Vista. Also works in Windows 7

worked like a charm thanks.
now why can't M$ make it that damn simple?

They do - it's you who's making it damn hard.
Control Panel Programs and Features Turn Windows features on or off.
Clear the Games box.

Does that actually remove all copies from the machine (including from
the more-or-less-image of the install DVD), or just remove their
shortcuts?
