I don't think those cables allow two drives to be addressed as if one.

Perhaps if you didn't waste money on things like that, you'd have the
money you need to build your dome home.


What cable would that be? So far I use the cradle for by USB3
External drive but I wouldn't mind having another option.

but that includes a power supply, lots of cables, and a driver CDlet.
You can probably get just the cable - on the right of that picture, USB
to EIDE/SATA - for a bit less).
