When I later brought that first machine back into service and

I wouldn't risk having the same product key on the two machines, no need

I'm a huge risk taker, once made a $2 bet on a horse and won.

I never made a bet on a horse, and never bought a lottery ticket. But
I once won $5 with a lottery ticket.

The ticket was the only lottery ticket I've ever had; it was a
Christmas gift from the mother of one of my students. So I'm $5 ahead
on lotteries--probably much further ahead than most people who have
bought them.

Agreed.

I tell folks that I've "won" thousands of dollars by NEVER playing the
lottery.

Are you related to Mark Twain, who said "It's easy to stop smoking.
I've done it a thousand times."?

Not related but I do have a story.

When my wife moved in here she agreed to smoke outside.

The -20F winter convinced her to quit!
