Default Bookmarks in Internet Explorer

I just tested that in IE7. I made multiple deletions from my favorites
folder after backing it up to another folder. When I refresh favorites with
a copy of my favorites from my backup folder everything was still
there...worked fine

Where does IE store
bookmarks do I can edit it by hand and delete all the garbage at once?

C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name Here\Favorites

To open your Favorites folder...
Start | Run | Type: favorites | Click OK

Hope this helps. Let us know.

Hello people,
I wanted to clean up my favorites, bookmarks in Internet Explorer 6.x. I
does not allow me to select multiple files to delete them and it would

I
could export everything and edit that by hand but when I import them back
in they will just get appended! If it is not possible to edit bookmarks
by hand is there a utility that allows me to select more than one
bookmark at a time and delete them?

Thanks,
Erica
