I do not understand what you did to change "settings to recoding only"? The
procedure is to double click the volume icon in the system tray and then
select Options/Properties and the functions are then shown, first in the
Playback Mode, the Mic should NOT be checked at this point, the next Option
is Recording Mode and then the Mic Should be checked. Also, I do not
understand what you are say everytime it starts in "Playback Mode", what are
you talking about, I do not have the slightest idea.

answering our problems. Its a great help and alleviates a hell of alot of
frustration (still hate computers though lol sorry)
