Your great far helping me this long. Thanks

MP. I'm learning a bit here too.

Here's what I was looking for.

SERVICE_NAME: SharedAccess
DISPLAY_NAME: Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) / Internet Connection
Sharing (ICS)
Provides network address translation, addressing, name resolution and/or
intrusion prevention services for a home or small office network.
TYPE : 20 WIN32_SHARE_PROCESS
STATE : 3 STOP_PENDING
(STOPPABLE,NOT_PAUSABLE,IGNORES_SHUTDOWN)
WIN32_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0)
SERVICE_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0)
CHECKPOINT : 0x0
WAIT_HINT : 0x0

State is STOP_PENDING. Meaning it isn't stopped, so you can't start it, but it
isn't running either. You're gonna have to restart Sparky (hope it will shut
down successfully).

After restarting, rerun psservice as before, extract the entry for SharedAccess
(as above) and copy and paste that into your next post. Don't paste the whole
thing again - I can hear the dialup users groaning when they see 1174 lines in
your last post. :-(

As long as the service isn't running, you'll be getting an APIPA address on the
network card - don't worry about that (was that psloglist?).
