I am trying to re-do a DELL DIMENSION E521 PC with W7 for a friend.
She says she had it working fine with her ZyXEL G-220V3 wireless
router when the PC had MS Vista on it. But wouldn't you know her
Vista stopped working for other reasons - worst thing being Internet
Explorer (seem to be many complaints on that one).

Anyway, I can't get her adapter to work. It needs a driver of course,
and one didn't activate with this W7 installation. Does anyone know
of a driver for this adapter for W7? I can't find one - and of
course, I am finding it almost impossible to work around the deluge of
sites wanting me to buy driver softwares. I have tried the ZyXEL
site, but did not see anything.

Googling for a few seconds found these helpful pages:
http://www.verizon.com/support/resid...in7/127941.htm
ftp://ftp2.zyxel.com/G-220/driver/G-220_3.0.0.zip

Thanks.
I did not see or find this web site. I did look. Yes I did.
She does not have the instalation CD, but since it is from Verizon, I
told her to get one. The site does say the adapter will run on W7.

Thanks\\Wei

Different browsers in different countries show different web sites.
If you go to zyxel ftp site they have drivers for download.
Nothing for V3 though. Odd, since it is the mfg site.
ftp://ftp2.zyxel.com/
What many of us do is install closely related drivers until
we find one that works. It may not say W7, but sometimes XP will
work, sometimes not.
