Right click offers to open in browser, then a dialog ask to say
what application to open it with (choose other application). And

Aye. It's been a known issue with thunderchicken for years. Never
fixed, amongst other things. Xnews has it's own share of.. unique
gotchas, but, as long as the server actually has the article, it'll
pull it up via clicking the news url link.

Despite Xnews data files not being officially documented, they're easy
to reverse engineer and I like that. It also looks alot like
NewsXpress, and, I used that for years prior.. so...
