Default Run-Time Error - Threed16.ocx

Hi,

I just purchased a word search and crossword puzzle for my pc but when I try to play it I get the following error.

Run-time error 367: Can't load (or register) customer control:threed16.ocx.

I contacted the company and they could not help me. They suggested that I update windows (I am running windows xp), directx, my video driver and to turn off active desktop if it is on (it wasn't). I have 256mb of RAM and plenty of hard drive space. I still get the error. I searched my hard drive and I do have a threed16.ocx file. Any suggestions.

Right click the shortcut for the program, select Properties, Compatibility
and try the compatibility mode for 95/98 or Me.
