Controlling programm installation in limited account
I need to create a user account for my stepson but want to control what he
can do, I understand that a limited account will let you install programmes and webcams but I need to stop this whilst still allowing him to access the internet and go into chat rooms. How do I go about customising an account to stop him from installing programmes etc? I'm thinking the best option will be to create a guest account which has limited use but I need to put a password on it. Can anyone help me with this? I've got a fairly good knowledge of computers but this is over my head! |

Controlling programm installation in limited account
A limited account cannot install programs. It does this by preventing any
programs the user is running from changing anything in important folders. I don't think a limited account can install new hardware either. |

Controlling programm installation in limited account
I have used a limited account in the past and it was still possible to
install some programmes (but not all). If it will stop hardware being installed that is good though. Thanks a lot "DM" wrote: A limited account cannot install programs.
