Default IE11 tabs in Win 10

When I open a new URL in windows 10 the tab does not go side by side on
the tab bar, But piles itself on the first one, I can ope numerous pages
and they are always stacked, My sons machine puts them side by side.
I have set the tab page items in tools internet options every which way
with the same results, Also reset IE11 in options advanced.
We both have the latest Ver 192.
Any Ideas to what I am not doing (or Doing wrong.
