It's effectively from the App Store and has an unintuitive name. You'll never find "Settings" in some WinSXS folder. Instead, if you use the appropriate command to dump all the names of "Apps", you spot it as an unintuitive one that stands out from the others. Cortana for example, probably has "cortana" as part of the WinSXS file name, so you know that one isn't it. Shortcut C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar\Control Panel.lnk The Target cannot be edited, but I thought it was "control.exe" ? You can start the Control Panel with control.exe in System32. Paul |
