Default SP1 or SP2 ?

I'm so confused!
In the "add or remove" program window, I wanted to check
to see which (SP)I had. I know my computer came with SP1.
My question is , it shows SP1 at the bottom of the list
but it also shows XP Hotfix (SP2). Which one do I have?
And can I delete SP1? Or did I totally mess-up by adding
the (SP2) Hotfixes, because I don't even have (SP2), I
have (SP1)??

Hi lnocee,
You will have Service Pack 1 installed, the XP Hotfix (SP2) entries are
individual patches that will also be included in Service Pack 2. However SP2
is not due for release until the end of year . You've not messed anything
up, at the moment that is how it should look, once you install Service Pack
2 (when it is available) those hotfix entries will be removed automatically.
I would recommend not to remove Service Pack 1 or any of the hotfixes.

Hope that helps

SP2 is not released yet.
Those hotfixes will be incorporated in SP2 when it is released.
Everything is normal.

The hotfixes that will be contained in SP2 will show up in add/remove as
SP2. You do not have SP2 as you stated as it isn't scheduled to be released
till 4th quarter this year. Do NOT delete any of the fixes.
