Nicely done! I especially like the completion screen which says in giant
huge letters "Hi!"

I said "It's a little early in the morning for that, don't you think,
Cortana?" She says "Very well, Master Bucky, would you like a blow job
now?" I said "That would be nice, Cortana, thank you very much."

I wonder how long it will be until we're allowed to delete the folder at

C:\$WINDOWS.~BT

That thing is 3.67 GB on my system!

Cortana doesn't seem to know... she just keeps gagging and flailing.

TIA.

run cleanmanager, or words to that effect, click "cleanup system files"
or something similar. I don't have win10 booted right now...
You're lucky.
After the last update, cleanmanager deleted 21GB from my disk.

I usually run disk cleanup on the Administrative tools menu.
Run as Admin. There are tick boxes for old versions of windows and old download files or something close to that.
You'll see them, they are in Gigs not Megs.

I was less impressed with the screen that said "All your files are
exactly where you left them" when it then turns out that the files for
CPU-Z were deleted, rather than where I left them ... what else?

Just did it. Thanks! I had to run the "Cleanup System Files" routine... and
once I did that, I selected ""Clean up system files" button and the
"Previous Windows Installation(s)" [C:\Windows.old]... got back ~22GB as
well. woot!

LOL! Here too... The upgrade routine completely erased CCleaner... all
the icons, all the shortcuts, and all the 'Program Files' directories...

Simple enough to reinstall and reconfigure, but WTF? Also defaulted back
to MSFT Edge as my PDF reader, over-riding my Adobe Reader; but it left
that intact, so all I had to do was visit Control Panel's 'Default
Programs' and change it back.

It's an adventure, ehh?

It also reinstated some of the privacy settings I'd disabled.
