Default Gadgets And Tiles ?

Hello,

I guess that Windows 10 doesn't allow "gadgets" anymore.
True ? If so, a shame.
Any workarounds that work ?

Really liked Presto's Clock. Would love to get it back.

Anyway, what I now have are some Tiles that open up when I click on the
Start menu icon. Not visible otherwise.

I see one for a calendar, and one for the weather ?

Any way to have them Always displayed as "small" icons that I can
position at the edge of the screen, as I had in W7 ?
Wouldn't need clicking on to see.

Any suggestion for one that would display GMT like Prestos Clock did ?
If so, would it just add in as another Tile ? Or,...?

Thanks,
Bob

Google 8 gadget pack.
It works in 8. I'm almost sure it works in 10 but on every new build I get a message that it was disabled as it does
not work with 10, yet the program then pops up a windows that asks me if I want to repair it. I do and it works. I'm
still on the insider build not the regular system.

You might find something to suit you at
http://win7gadgets.com/clock/prestos_clock.html

Scroll down the page a little until you come to the INFO heading and
you will see "How to Install Desktop Gadgets in Windows 10".

....

There were security concerns in the old "gadgets".
