Default Virtual Memory issues after install SP2

I have been running SP1 for quite awhile and have had no
issues. All of a sudden I install SP2 and 'all you know
what' breaks loose. System kept crashing after virtual
memory issues. So I went and upgraded memory to 512mb
from 320mb. Still the same problem.

Anyone know a fix?

What are the specifics of the "virtual memory issues"? There are many
different problems that can arise that have some relationship to
virtual memory, and most of these have different causes and therefore
different cures.

One specific question. Are you running any Norton products? These
have be linked in some instances to certain problems involving virtual
memory.

Good luck

Read this excellent article on virtual memory by Alex Nichol:

See the Problems section at my page www.aumha.org/win5/a/xpvm.htm

From reports I see around recently, start by uninstalling any Norton
products
