how to find other computers connected to the same router
Without seeing this for myself AG, I am out of option now. I will tell you
this, after setting up wireless networks for a while now, I have formed an opinion about Netgear routers -- I do not like them. I have had similar problems with them in the past, including not allowing MS updates to come in -- and this was from a factory router out of the box. Since then I have always used Linksys. If you have the resources, I would give them a shot. Sorry I could not solve the issue for you. I would love to see what happens if you change the router. Please keep me posted on this. -- Best of luck! Michael D. Alligood MCSA, MCP, CCNA, A+, Network+, i-Net+, CIW A, CIW CI "AG Young" wrote in message ... OK. I will try to talk my boss into getting a Linksys.
But I kind of doubt it because we just got whole bunch of Netgear stuff this month. Can you please tell me how to install "File and Printer" sharing - install which - Client or Protocol or Service? I will tell you this, after setting up wireless networks for a while now, I have formed an opinion about Netgear routers -- I do not like them. I have had similar problems with them in the past, including not allowing MS updates to come in -- and this was from a factory router out of the box. Since then I have always used Linksys. If you have the resources, I would give them a shot. Sorry I could not solve the issue for you. I would love to see what happens if you change the router.
