Remote Desktop Connection
I have been able to log into my company's server for several years. Within
the last two weeks, something has changed. I can no longer login. I receive this error message: "the local policy of this system does not allow you to logon interactively" What does this mean? I have tried to get my IT guy at work to help and he has no answer. Please help. I really need to work from home. |

You need to reboot the system. That happens when someone logs off
incorrectly from a remote session. -- The Real Truth http://pcbutts1-therealtruth.blogspot.com/ "july1765" wrote in message ... I have been able to log into my company's server for several years. Just by chance the system was restarted today, and I still can't logon.

Use Group Policy Editor to check the following settings: (Start-Run-gpedit.msc) Local Computer Policy - Computer Configuration -Windows Settings - Security Settings - Local Policies - User Rights Assignment Check the settings for the following entries: Access this Computer from the Network Allow Login through Terminal Services Deny Access to this computer through the network Deny Login through Terminal Services Sometimes you can change these values through GPEdit, other times the Domain Policies override.
