Error deleting Icons
I am trying to remove icons that are imbedded into the pinup section of my
start menu. These are icons that refer to items which have been removed from the system. I have tried the "unlocker" program and a VB script that is suppose to allow me to rename/move the item. I always get an error: "Error moving file or folder. X Cannot move file: Cannot read from the source file or disk." Under "properities" the icons are listed as "'This is not a valid shortcut". I would try a program like Delinvfile but I am not sure where to look for these items in the explorer folder heirarchy. Or perhaps there is a registry key I could kill? -- Blackhat |
