Default More about Product Key

Perhaps you remmeber that the Product Key on the bottom of my friend's
laptop was damaged, and the first character could not be read. And
iirc you all assure me that number wasn't really important.

I ran Belarc on both my Acer laptop and my friend's and guess what!

Even though his is about 4 years old and mine about 2 year old, for
Windows XP Home and Internet Explorer,, they both have the same OEM
number and both have exactly the same internal product key (which is
not the same as either product key on the COA sticker)

My Dell desktop with XP Pro is different!!
