"Auto Streamer" install, vs Comdlg32.ocx?
In an effort to make a slipstreamed WinXP-SR2 CD I downloaded the "Auto =
= Streamer" program. But there seem to be a problem with the ActiveX-control within the = Zip-file (?). I get a RunTime error "372" message when I start the = initializing, I quote: "Failed to load control "CommonDialog" from = COMDLG32.OCX. Your version of COMDLG32.OCX may be outdated. Make sure yo= u = are using the version of the control that was provided with your = application." I have tried to download the program from several web-pages, and ofcou= rse = from the "main" downloading page, "Neowin.net". But no!, .the same erro= r = message appears from all downloads. Anyone with an idea wood be much appreasiated! Thor |

"Auto Streamer" install, vs Comdlg32.ocx?
Thor I haven't had any problems with it. The file is relatively small anyway
so what I could do is email you all of the 'unzipped' files and you could try that. Autostreamer doesn't have to be installed you just unzip the original file and click on the main autostreamer executable file. Before I sent the files to you I need to know that I am sending them to the correct email address. It is not wise to display your true email address on the newsgroups otherwise you end up with loads of spam. Can you visit my website www.freelanceit.glowinternet.net. Click on the Contact Me tab and email me (please use the Lycos.co.uk contact address) the email address you want me to send the files to. Incidentally the instructions for slipstreaming sp2 using autostreamer are available on my site. Click Windows XP Faq button and look at question 83 Hopefully I can get you up and running with your slipstream. -- John Barnett MVP Associate Expert www.freelanceit.glowinternet.net wrote in message newspsema05tnql7jcu@time...
