Removing Firefox
I have firefox installed on my system. I'm running Windows XP.
I had my system worked on by a tech guy and he installed Firefox because my IE was playing up. I don't want Firefox in my system and I want to reinstall IE7. Basically, I want delete my old copy of IE7 and Firefox and reinstall a fresh copy of IE7. I want to do this myself. How do I do this, can you give me some advice? I have a legitimate copy of Windows disk. Please. Lynn. |

Beside the previously replied info, you may have to uninstall SP3 before removing / reinstalling IE 7 / 8, if the SP3 was install "after" installing IE 7 / 8. SP3 is known to "lock" the lowest version of Internet Explorer (IE) to the version installed at the time SP3 is installed. |

If the XP came with SP3 "preinstalled" it will not show up in Add / Remove Programs. |
