Snit couldn't even setup NFS on a Mac using only what Apple provides. He ran away like a screaming girl for a $20 utility. HAHHAHAHAHAHA That's all Peter's challenge was... ::CHOKE:: Major ::CHOKE:: Marek's circus so far (it keeps getting more insane): 1) Peter asked about setting up NFS on a Mac with a GUI. He wanted it to ship with the Mac but there is no such tool so I found a third party GUI for setting up NFS (something I know little about but it should not be that hard to do). Peter had the option to use that GUI tool or the CLI tools that come with the Mac. Either seem fine options. 2) Marek then mocked me for pointing him to a GUI (?!) and for not knowing how to set up NFS (something I never said I did know). Clearly Marek holds me to a very high standard -- he assumes I know pretty much EVERTHING about all areas of tech. Interesting how he sees me as being so knowledgeable that for ANY area I am not versed in he thinks it is odd. 3) Marek throw a public toddler tantrum and deemed it acceptable to snip all quotes of him making an ass of himself, to forge quotes, to lie, push meta-meta-debates, repeat the juvenile "Everyone is Snit" gag, and to engage in name calling and insults. 4) I give Marek lots of attention (though to save time largely through repeated text). 5) Marek concluded he somehow showed himself to be a... better person? What? Really... what the hell? 6) Marek changed the topic, posted a fairly simple script and predicted I would not be able to figure out what it does. 7) It was obvious what it does and I posted proof that I know, he https://www.icloud.com/pages/0o1-ztyyz2aAl1kTOSytUb3FQ#ForMarek. Marek wants me to jump through hoops for him to do HIM a favor (I have NOTHING to prove to him as I am the one being honest). For me to do Marek this favor he must merely admit to two truths: * Peter asked for a GUI solution. * When I showed him one you responded dishonestly 8) For anyone else (other than my stalker) who actually doubted I could understand the simple script, they were welcome to the password for free. NOBODY else showed any doubt - only Marek. Still, this did not stop Marek from lying and insisting I must be trying to buy time. And eventually it came out that everyone knew what it did so I shared my password. Marek continued to have a tantrum. Ah, the wonders of Usenet! Oh, and the best actual quotes that prove that Marek's tantrum began with him making a complete ass of himself: Peter Köhlmann: ----- For linux (for example Opensuse) this is just a few mouseclicks on both side in *GUI* programs to get it working, all in all taking less than a minute to do the complete setup Since the lying imbecile claims that OSX is way superior to linux (especially on the GUI), lets have a smalll video from that dimbulb. I naturally expect that his example will show the "challenge" to take substantial less time than on linux... ----- Where the exact task as descibed takes *less* than a minute (in fact, less than 30 seconds when you know how it is done) to do it with a GUI. ----- Marek: ----- Nope, he asked that you do it manually, not with a GUI app ----- Typical Snit, runs for the GUI app for sale because he's a clueless Mac idiot. ----- NFS is quite possibly the easiest of all sharing to set up. And Snit immediately runs to a GUI util for $20 because he has no clue at all how to do it out of the box with what Apple provided. ----- Not only could he not do it with what comes out of the box with the Mac, he had to run to a GUI util to do what a simple command, which is built in, could do. ----- He's a moron, Tom. This is the same guy that went looking for a $20 GUI app because he's too stupid to type nfsd start on the command line. ----- LOL! -- * OS X / Linux: What is a file? http://youtu.be/_dMbXGLW9PI * Mint MATE Trash, Panel, Menu: http://youtu.be/C0y74FIf7uE * Mint KDE working with folders: http://youtu.be/7C9nvniOoE0 * Mint KDE creating files: http://youtu.be/N7-fZJaJUv8 * Mint KDE help: http://youtu.be/3ikizUd3sa8 * Mint KDE general navigation: http://youtu.be/t9y14yZtQuI * Mint KDE bugs or Easter eggs? http://youtu.be/CU-whJQvtfA * Easy on OS X / Hard on Linux: http://youtu.be/D3BPWANQoIk * OS / Word Processor Comparison: http://youtu.be/w6Qcl-w7s5c |

Yup... You got pwned! Ah, so it has become clear: 1) I do not know everything. Peter asked about setting up NFS on a Mac with a GUI and while I do not know much about it I found a GUI for him to do so. 2) You then mocked me for pointing him to a GUI (?!) and for not knowing how to set up NFS (something I never said I did know). 3) Because of my horrible wrong here you deemed it acceptable to snip all quotes of you making an ass of yourself, to forge quotes, to lie, and to troll. You are such a mature person! But, I admit, I am giving you lots of attention. THAT really is what you want. They are begging for your attention Michael. Marek has been especially desperate recently. The sad thing is he COULD just drop his trolling and have a real conversation if he was not so insecure. |

But as far as I'm concerned, what you're saying is like "My Ford works fine, so I don't want a Mercedes." I would take a 2016 Ford GT over a 2016 Mercedes-AMG GT S. |
