Default Setting for .tif files is lost

In the following MSKB article (320289),
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-
US;320289 - it explains very well how to solve the problem
of always being prompted to open or download a .tif file
from within MSIE. The resolution works on Windows 2000,
but does not work on WindowsXP. Any help with solving
this on XP?

Thank you,
Mike Kistler
