Default task bar icons removel

can someone please help me ,i have loads of icons that
slow my pc really down when its tryin to load uo when i
turn it on, i have been into it b4 and deleted some of
them but i cant remeber where i did it .
i treid control panel and then start/taskbar menu but it
dont give me the option to remove them from near my
clock???????..........help

Default task bar icons removel

That area of your desktop is called the "System Tray". To remove these you
can start by deleting everything in the directory StartProgramsStartup.
The rest you will have to disable from their internal options.
