Default right click on a file - context menu after 20 sec

When I click on a file name i have to wait 20 seconds before the context
menu is displayed. If I disable my network adapter it works fine. Well I
need to use my network so that is not very good workaround.

There is a delay of 20 sec as well when I copy or delete a file. I have to
watch the hourglass and the PC doing nothing for 20 sec before I can copy a
file.

Any other ideas for better workaround?
