Default Help with Application Sharing for multiple people

Hi JK:

Thanks for your note.

It's all very confusing. We have, on at least one occasion, had 5 of us
using MSN Messenger v7.? and we were all able to see my shared applications.
I'm not sure what's changed since then (about 3 weeks ago) but it no longer
works.

As I'm NAT'ing behind a linksys firewall, NetMeeting isn't an option.
Thanks anyway.

Greetings Dab,

Unfortunately you can't in MSN Messenger; the Application Sharing feature
when integrated into Messenger only supports one-on-one.

You'll need use Netmeeting if you want more than one person. To do so,
click Start, then Run, enter "conf" and click OK. Within Netmeeitng,
click the Call menu, then Host Meeting and then have others call your IP
(Call Menu, New Call). If you don't know what your IP is, click the Help
menu and select About within Netmeeting as it indicates your IP there.

A bunch of us working from home regularly use MSN Messenger v7 for
messaging and for application sharing. Everything works no problem. If
there are only two of us 'conference application sharing works fine. I
can't figure out to have more than two people application share! I
pretty sure that I've done it before (I know that I have using netmeeting
which MSN messenger appears to call when application sharing) but now I
can't remember how to add more people to an active share (or to create a
new sharing session for multiple individuals. Can anyone help? Let me
know . Thanks.
