The date and time was 11/18/2008 10:31 AM, and on a whim, Janetb pounded
out on the keyboard: Is there a way to get the list of programs in my StartPrograms menu into alphabetical order? Thanks for the help! Janet Hi Janet, Get your selector in All Programs and right click and select, "Sort by name". I do that but also keep my created folders, "Frequent Programs" and "Utilities" right off of the All Programs arrow so I don't have to mess with the full menu most of the time. After sorting, I move those two folders back to where the mouse selector shows after being on All Programs. -- Terry R. ***Reply Note*** Anti-spam measures are included in my email address. Janet Google for MenuSorter.exe, a tiny proggy that will sort the menu on startup and also do it every time you invoke it. Wonderful little stuff, works in XP HTH -- Thank you for your time and attention Archer |

Hi!
What did you mean by:"Get your selector in All Programs"? R-clicking on "Programs" in the Startup pop-up menu gives me a choice of Open or Explore, both of which give a Winows Explorer window which is already in alphabetical order.....I want the actual Startup Menu top be in alphabetical order so I can find what I want quickly.... -- Thanks for the help! Thanks but isn't there a way to do it from within XP--without having to have
an additional program running...? -- Janet "Ardent" wrote: On Tue, 18 Nov 2008 10:31:07 -0800, Janetb wrote: Is there a way to get the list of programs in my StartPrograms menu into alphabetical order?
