cannot check hotmail, or get onto messenger

Hey,
For about half a year now, my xp doesn't let me sign into homtail or windows messenger. If I go to hotmail.com and try to sign in, it says page cannot be displayed and I cannot go to .net or anything, although the .net service says its good. If I try to
sign into windows messenger or msn messenger, it says it cannot find my password and blah blah, like everyone else's problems were. I was just wondering if there's anyway to get my hotmail back because I think thats why it won't let me sign in, just cause
.net and homtail doesnt work. So, if anyone could be please help me, that would be great!
