Default Dcom errors

I get the following DCOM Error everytime I open Windows
Messenger:
Source: DCOM
EventID: 10010
Type: Error
User:computername\Administrator
Computer: computer name

The server {F3A614DC-ABE0-11D2-A441-00C04F795683} did not
register with DCOM within the required timeout.

I have Windows Messenger for XP. How can I resolve the
error messages?

Default Errors

Greetings Brandon,

Firstly, make sure no version of MSN Messenger is loaded (press Ctrl-Alt-Del or right-click
on the Taskbar and choose Task Manager, then click Processes and look for msnmsgr.exe, if
there is one, click it and then click End Process). Then, click Start, then Run, type:
%windir%\winsxs and click OK.

Find the folders beginning with:
x86_Microsoft.Windows.Networking.RtcDll_ ... (strange number)
and delete all of them (you may need to click the View menu and choose Details to more easily
identify them).

Then try reinstalling MSN Messenger 6.1.

Product: MSN Messenger 6.1 -- Error 1935. An error occured during the installation of
assembly component {874793FC-5F43-496A-8FE7-18C4DB9B143D}. HRESULT: -2147024864. assembly
interface: IAssemblyCacheItem, function: Commit, assembly name:
Microsoft.Windows.Networking.RtcDll,type="win32",v ersion="5.2.2.1",publicKeyToken="6595b64144ccf1df" ,processorArchitecture="x86"

This is the what the viewer said about the error.

But now it just says "This application failed to start because the application
configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem"
I've reinstalled it several times now, it isn't fixing it. I also tried to install version
5.0 but that got me no where as well.
