No idea, just fact. MS Exchange needs to live on a server version of
Windows, SmallBusinessServer or Win2003 or so. And in a domain, workgroup is not enough. -- ************************************************** **** Most learned on these newsgroups Tumppi, Helsinki, FINLAND (translations from/to FI not always accurate) ************************************************** **** "Ray Kilham" kirjoitti viestissä Hi all, Re the above, I have just got a copy of Exchange server V4 + SP1 and wish to install on my small server at home, when I run setup for the I386 folder, I get a message that the system asks for the PC to be on a Windows NT domain for the install to continue - ideas please. Try Argosoft Mail.... www.argosoft.com. There's even a free version. I
have the Pro version on my Server and have never had a problem with it. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Windows Technologies, Printing & Imaging http://www.coribright.com/windows "Ray Kilham" wrote in message news Hi all, Re the above, I have just got a copy of Exchange server V4 + SP1 and wish to install on my small server at home, when I run setup for the I386 folder, I get a message that the system asks for the PC to be on a Windows NT domain for the install to continue - ideas please.
